Sessions II & III

After some recovery and rest, the band of heroes decide to follow-up on the 'blood-gold' and rumours of wizards and priests being kidnapped.

Trekking through the snow to the wagon-bunker, they fight some orcs whom were searching(?) the bunker and seem to server the mysterious K.
Finding some tracks leading off along an old path in the snow. Further investigation comes across wagon tracks and then some footprints leading off into the forest..

Following the footprints, they come across a large.. very large hold in the ground. Investigating they discover a tower has sunk deep into the ground, now on an angle. Using rope and climbing they spelunk down to the tower and start to explore..

Fighting some spiders.. and more. Treasure is found in some unlikely places.. They descend through the levels until they hear an argument out at the base of the tower. It seems a barter session between a robed human and 1/2 orc guard and dark-dwarves is going on over 2 slaves. Swinging and shooting into action the party battles and then after negotiates as this human seems to be quite powerful..
Gold changes hands, the party saves one of the slaves. The human mage and 1/2 orc - who ALSO seem to server the nefarious K.  -- leave.
The party then attacks the dark-dwarves and defeat them saving the 2nd slave! Returning to Fort Manchus the party is heading to see the Mayor.. information to be given and rewards..?

Session I (part 3)


An over-turned Wagon has been turned into a bunker! Warlord  Duu§b's fort..

The band of heroes scouts out the bunker and fights a hard battle with the cunning kobolds whom have dug a network of tunnels under the Wagon-bunker.

After some tough battles and traps foiled, they save the young girl and recover a majority of the supplies.

Returning to Fort Manchus, they are welcomed as minor heroes now..
A letter as well as red-gold coins are amongst the loot found.

Session I (Part 2)


Kobold Commandos!
Sarah pesters the group with questions about everything and anything when her grandfather is asleep - which is often. Asking why "hobbit feet are big, don’t wear shoes.. why gnomes are so small! Why hair is silver.."
At lunch one 2nd day  - basic meals are included - Sarah casts a cantrip to tease the Mayor to the guffaws and more of the Friar - GP will admonish her to not use magic, “Remember what happens to wizards warlocks and priests!” with a scared look on his wizened face.
GrandPa speaks of the rumours of mages, priests and such being kidnapped and taken by creatures.
Party has heard some other rumours:

•Dead are taken as well by an evil wizard. He pays red gold for them - large gold coins stamped with a crow with red tipped wings and red eye.
•He has a swarm of crows all have red tipped wings and glowing red eyes at his call, also tells him news and keeps watch on the valley. 
•Orcs and goblins want the valley and the Black-Mithril mine. Continual attacks happen over past 20 years. The frequency of them have drastically increased over past 4 months since the Black-Mithril was discovered..

On 2nd day in early morning sun is just rising over horizon. Light snowfall. party is asleep, Sarah talking to her GP: "Grandpa, why is that little man waving at us?”

Kobold commandos attack.. Sarah is taken.. as well as the barge of supplies! The kobolds noted Sarah cast spells so focused their attacks to capture her.
Wounded GrandPa beseeches the party to save her!

Arrival at the Fort. The Mayor and Sheriff Valeriano Sargus- whom seems upset there is a NEW Mayor.. thought HE had the job! -
Sheriff, Mayor and Abbot Solner meet with party in attendance.
A debate going after KCs, but the Sheriff does not want to use his guards. Wants to send message for more troops and await them
Friar gets upset and says “we need to goo now.. no a waitin’ lad!”
Mayor agrees.
Sheriff blusters starts “you don’t make the decisions....” she cuts him off. “I do. I am Mayor, but I agree WE don’t have the needed forces to, do this.”
Turns to party, “will you help us? We can cover your expenses and offer reward if you can find the girl as well as any supplies..”
Friar Rook stands and offer his support and service as the parry steps forward!
Mayor provides 2 mountain ponies to help bring supplies. . Abbot provides 3 healing potions, scroll of catnap, Maximilian’s Earthen Grasp & Skywrite. ("This will be if you need rescue or help to gather supplies")

The intrepid band heads off into the wilderness!

Session I (part 1)


Welcome to Sleet's Dungeons and Dragon's 5e GreyHawk campaign!

A new adventure in an old.. old world...

Session 1:
Winter time in Greyhawk. The Kron Hills


Party traveling upriver to frontier fort Manchus guarding the valley - primary location of black-mithril mine.
4 day journey on small boat (steam-powered) towing a barge of supplies
Group asked to take a large chest and cage of very colourful (and noisy! when tarp over cage is removed) exotic birds to a professor Zin. Party will need to feed the 3 birds once per day. One is green and yellow (crackers looks like a parrot, speaks a little.. says ‘thank you’ in English accent) one is bright red (leaves of any sort - small) and one is coal black (live bugs only - very long legs and beak)
Onboard are 4 other passengers:
  • The new Mayor of the town, Ms. Talla Keelin stern and stand-offish. Tall thin woman with black hair. Is good with Xbow..
  • An elderly man ( GranPa Simon Dilnas) and his granddaughter Sarah Dilnas
  •  A jovial dwarf (Friar Rook) priest of Olidamarra
  • 2 guards Rosencrantz & Guildenstern for supplies as well as helmsman: Gershaw.
